Me and my friends did the ABC trek in early November. Niru (our guide) and Yam (our porter) are very friendly, professional, helpful, reliable and caring. During the trek, Niru always kept us motivated. I can say Niru is a highly experienced guide. He always checked our condition and listened to our needs. Niru and Yam did a very good job to make sure we reach ABC and come back safely.
After completing the trek, Niru was still checking on us and making sure that we are okay. On my last day in Kathmandu, Niru and Man Kumar Tamang (the owner of Halesi Treks) personally invited me for a farewell dinner. I really feel like a family.
I can’t thank Halesi Treks (Niru, Yam, Man Kumar) enough for making my second visit to Nepal so memorable.

We've just come back from a 4 days trek with Halesi treks. Man Kumar (the owner) was very kind to meet Us in Pokhara to have a beer together before the trek in order to give us some suggestions and information about the trek route. Our guide (Niru Rai) was very professional and attentive to our needs. We slept in comfortable tea houses, with wi-fi and hot shower. We ate good Nepalese food and even delicious pasta (a more than welcome surprise at 3000 mt).
We felt safe during every second of the trek with Niru ( a guide used to climb up to 7000 mt peaks).
We definitely recommend Halesi trek for a beautiful experience in Nepal.

Man Kumar was so helpful throughout the whole process, planned my trip based on my requirements so quickly and so professional! Was welcomed to Kathmandu at the airport by niru who was with me throughout the trip! So polite, friendly and helpful. The trek itself was amazing, even with the monsoon rains it was beautiful to see the greenery and nature! The accommodation was clean and the staff was very welcoming! You will need to pay extra for wifi and hot water at the hotels. 
Due to monsoon season, it was cloudy at the top of poonhill so unfortunately couldn't see the views! However, it was so peaceful to sit by the window watching the rainstorm and thunder!  I can not thank niru and man Kumar enough for the help and support throughout the trip and even once it was finished they continued to offer advice about Nepal and gave great recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to eat at! The whole trip was perfect and the service from these two was amazing! Thanks again!

I was a solo trekker and was looking to complete the trek in 11 days including arrival and departure. My return plan was taking a helicopter from Gorakshep to save time and get ariel views. However, no company was giving me confirmation of heli ride for a single trekker. This is when I contacted Man Kumar Tarang who gave me a very competitive price for my plan.
Pros:
1) Competitive pricing
2) Arranged return on a shared helicopter (nobody else was willing)
3) Was quick to send all information and communication
4) Hotel and guest/tea house arrangements were as best as possible.
5) Man Kumar Tarang has good contacts with the helicopter companies. When flight from KTM to Lukla was canceled, he was quick to get a seat for me for a very low price. Others were stranded for 1-3 days.
6) Man Kumar kept in touch throughout the trek, calling every other day to find if things were going well.
7) He gave right advise to take the helicopter back to Kathmandu (my plan was only till Lukla and then flight) which helped me not miss my flight out of KTM
8) He helps me rent the sleeping bag, so I didn't have to worry arriving in KTM and shopping around.

Prakash was the best porter cum guide one can have. He kept my needs in priority throughout the trek.
1) Prakash maintained the pace of the trek keeping my stamina in mind with proper rest stops.
2) He would make sure to serve the meals, get hot water, tea. In two of the guest houses, he was able to get me special meal outside the menu.
3) He was my photographer and took good pictures without much instructions.
4) He would make sure to confirm with all the guest houses before arrival, get a room with no sharing and bring blankets if not provided.
5) He helped me in difficult terrains and without his help, I could not have made it to Kala pathther. He literally pulled me countless times to climb big rocks and motivated throughout the trek.
6) On the last day, he kept in touch with the helicopter service provider to get the earliest ride possible.
I will highly recommend Halesi Treks and Prakash as guide, if you are planning solo or group trek in the Himalayas, especially if you plan Helicopter service.

This is the 2nd time, me and friend booked the trip with Halesi Trek. I still had very high recommendation from this company because everything was arranged very professionally and friendly. Porter and guide are very helpful and always be there for you. Mera Peak is a very beautiful trek and also challenging. For sure if you are looking for adventure, you would be satisfied with this. an unforgettable experience from culture, foods, High camping, and walking on the glacier. truly amazing. Thank you, Man Kumar, for making this happened. We will definitely come back again to Nepal to taste others' experiences.

Effettuato questo trek nella seconda metà di marzo con temperature buone a parte la notte nelle zone più alte. Il gruppo era composto da 6 persone con Niru come guida, Ram assistente guida e tre portatori. I servizi dell'agenzia e delle guide sono stati ottimi, persone competenti e piene di attenzioni alle necessità del gruppo. Tra cui le salviette calde per la pulizia delle mani prima della cena, il gel antibatterico, la frutta dopo cena e il formaggio come antipasto. Si sono sempre prodigati per il servizio delle pietanze e non di rado anche nella preparazione in cucina. Quindi tra tutti noi si è creato un buon affiatamento che ha contribuito alla buona riuscita del trek. La prima parte del percorso si svolge su una strada in costruzione (in comune con il Manaslu Circuit), meno interessante rispetto a quando si entra nella Tsum Valley vera e propria. Poi il panorama si apre su ampi pascoli, villaggi e montagne innevate, con la possibilità di raggiungere alcuni Gompa.

I got 3 passes trek with Halesi Trek’s guide Tek.
My guide Tek was really kind and professional. Every day, he asked about my condition and tell me about tomorrow’s route. He knows all the routes well and on some difficult days like passes, he helped me with my clothes, and sleeping bags for my convenience.
Also, agency Man kumar was kind. He experiences me the ‘real local’ things after Trek.
