Best local tour guide in Nepal! My ABC trip with Halesi Treks was amazing. Dai Kumar and his team, Dai Yam, Dai Tek and 2 other porters were really helpful. They organized everything to make us feel safe and comfortable. Book your trip with them for the best experience!

Went with Halesi Treks for the second time and it was even better this time around. The EBC trek experience was seamless as they booked us into the best tea houses with great food and facilities. Man Kumar seems to be extremely resourceful when booking last-minute choppers and changing flight dates. A very personally curated experience that is rare to come by every day.

Special mention to Ras Dhan Rai - the guide assigned to us! What a packet of energy, Oh My God! He is well-experienced and has a great ability to gauge the physical extent of his clients. Would definitely recommend Ras as a guide.

Halesi would be my top choice for all treks in Nepal!

We booked with Halesi Treks a six-day Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek and private transfers from Kathmandu to Pokhara and the return.

Our guide (Tek), our porter (Yam), and the main point of contact (Man Kumar) were all great! We were particularly impressed by how our guide Tek paced our trek ("slowly, slowly" he says) so we ended up taking fewer breaks than we usually do when we hike, which was a pleasant surprise. Tek and Yam also went out of their ways to make us feel comfortable in the tea houses where we stayed the nights; for example, Yam often went ahead of us to find a room so we can just go directly to the room. The apples that Tek brought us for desserts were also nice touches, as the fruits seemed to be limited in the ABC trek. Tek is a bit on the quieter side (so don't expect elaborate story-telling), but that actually matched our personalities and we appreciated the calmness and the meditation-like experience.

Man Kumar, our point of contact in WhatsApp as well as the company owner, were also solid with communications, taking care of our questions before our trip to Nepal. We even met him twice in our stay in Nepal: once in Pokhara and the other time in Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, we even had a meal together, which was much appreciated. We can tell that he genuinely wanted us to feel welcomed and enjoy our times in Nepal.

We are overall very satisfied with the trek and the private transfers provided by Halesi. We would look up Halesi or contact Man Kumar again if we return to Nepal.

I did the Everest Base Camp with Man Kumar and his team as the local partner of my tour package.
All our transport and accommodation were arranged by his team so we had seamless transition between town and places: Kumar ensured that we has reserved places for flight to Lukla from Ramechhap and rooms to stay in lodges along the track.
His team of porters was also a lifesaver for us all. Prakash, the lead porter, patiently accompanied and helped injured or sick team members along the trek as the very high altitude became more challenging for us living near sea level.
Thanks to his team, our team of 10 all reached Everest Base Camp.

It was the first experience to trek oversea, previously my record was two-day trekking of 100KM in Hong Kong. My new record was 10-day trekking which over 135KM in Nepal!🥰🎉🥂

My original plan was ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) but after comparing more information from Man and we decided to go for ACT (Annapurna Circuit Trek), it’s true and such a beautiful picture and an unforgettable experience for these 2 weeks. The first 2-day was raining and other days are snowing, it’s the first time to facing quite cold and bad weather, you know Hong Kong was so warm, it’s very hard for me, specially during the night time, I always need 2 blankets, otherwise, can’t sleep well.😜

My guide Trek, porters Kumar and Yam ~make my whole trip better than I couldn’t have dreamed and wished for! The trekking, the transport, the food and our accommodations were all so good, special thanks for Trek arranging Yak Cheese and apples daily, it’s not only yummy but so warm at such cold weather!🤣Kumar and Yam also take care of us not only our backpacks but safety.

The good planning was perfect that all of us not feeling unwell which can achieve to Thorong La Pass (5416M), also is my new record!☺️ Most of the time we spent was trekking, eating, joking, play game card and having amazing views of the valleys. They are not just did the best job but treat us like a friend. Also, Man had arranged a farewell dinner with us, the yummy cultural food, beer and a performance. These 2 weeks in my lifetime in Nepal with such a professional and lovely team, l’m so grateful for this wonderful time with uuu, thank you all!🫶🫶

Namaste!! We had just experienced an awesome and wonderful trip in Nepal (29 April – 16 May). With the assistance from Man Tamang Kumar, founder of Halesi Treks Pvt.Ltd, he had arranged one guide (Tek) and two porters (Yam and Kumar) for our group of 4 persons during our journey to ACT. Before that, Man has communicated with us well and patiently, knowing our duration, expectations, assistance and concerns and finally fixed the routes to Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Not just the guide, the two porters always take care of us during the whole journey. Without their assistance and guide, we should not have completed the trek so successfully. The guide, Tek, always prepares Yak cheese and apples during lunch and dinner that made us very warm. He always tries his very best to satisfy our requests. Yam and Kumar, not just taking care of our baggage, they tries their best to keep us safe during the whole trek, especially some of the trails are slippy or even have rock dragging. They, three, are friendly, helpful and very funny.

I would highly recommend Halesi Treks Pvt.Ltd if you have any plans to Nepal. Feel free to ask if you guys have any queries about the ACT trek or any others.

I went to climb the Mardi Himal trek as my first experience of properly climbing a mountain and it was awesome! The trek offered beautiful views along the way as well as the top. Truly an amazing lifetime experience! And honestly makes me wanna explore more treks.

I also went for the Chitwan Jeep and river safaris after the climb. We were lucky we got to see many animals in their natural habitat, such as wild rhinos, bears, deer, and crocodiles. It was a great experience too!

Props to Halesi Treks as our local guide for arranging both trips and assistance during the trip. The team from Halesi are very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable in facing the terrain in the mountain. Looking forward to another trip and thank you!

We were all impressed by the astonishing Poon Hill + ABC sceneries and thank you once again for the professional guiding and hosting of the trip by our guide Man Kumar Tamang. He is a seasoned trip organizer who perfectly arranged the overall itinerary, hostility, food, and beverage for us and make this remarkable. We will definitely come back for another route later
